How to Get Here
Jurassic Beach will be located at The Camp Store from April 11 - May 5, 2025. The Camp Store is located at the west end of Poinsettia Lane just inside the entrance to South Carlsbad State Beach. The address is 7201 Carlsbad Blvd. Carlsbad, CA 92008. The campground entrance is not accessible directly from Poinsettia Lane, drivers must enter the park from the north only.
Directions
The Camp Store is situated in the middle of the South Carlsbad State Beach Campground and is accessible from any point in the Park by walking. Guests who live in the adjacent neighborhoods are always welcome as well and can enter into the Park from numerous access points. [ GREEN LINES IN GRAPHIC ]
We recommend Uber, Lyft or any other type of driver service if you plan on drinking any alcoholic beverages. You can get dropped off and picked up directly in front of The Camp Store in a specific area dedicated to shared rides. Please drink responsibly!
Enter the main gate at South Carlsbad Beach on Carlsbad Blvd (Pacific Coast Highway) through the Main Entrance at the west end of Poinsettia Lane. Please note that the park is only accessible from the north. Once inside the Park The Camp Store is located 75 yards from the check-in kiosk. [ YELLOW LINES IN GRAPHIC ]
Parking is FREE for forty minutes p but space is extremely limited with only 4 parking spots available. Additional and FREE parking is available on Avenida Encinas to the north of Poinsettia Lane and on Point Road but both require a 600 yard walk. [ AQUA BLUE LINES IN GRAPHIC ]
